Gayathri Unnikrishnan has spent fifteen years in the built environment and nearly a decade inside the institutions that write the rules, including leading the WELL v2 standard at IWBI, now covering 4.6 billion square feet across 125 countries, and the Declare Equity program with the Living Future Institute. She knows where the good ideas get stuck, and she built Liveable to unstick them. In 2026, she was named a Living Future Hero, one of the field's highest recognitions for practitioners advancing a just and healthy built environment.
